Paint Removal with Ultrasonic Cleaning
Spray gun parts and components can be cleaned with a little help from Elma Ultrasonic Cleaners
For this application a “pre-soak” is used to soften the aggressive paint primer soil.
The Elmasonic TI-H series has been used for this cleaning trial as these units offer two operating cleaning frequencies. In this case 25kHz was used.
We were told these particular parts were a very worse case scenario, so we were pleased to see the final results.
Our Tec Clean A4 cleaning fluid was used in the ultrasonic cleaning bath.
Ensure good rinsing after the soak and cleaning process. This removes final soil particles and cleaning fluid residues.
