Avoid items with delicate coatings, soft or cracked stones (pearls, opal, turquoise without testing), gem-set jewellery with loose settings, and anything with battery seals or unsealed electronics. Some painted finishes can soften in heated baths. When in doubt, test a small area first or ask the team for guidance — we've cleaned most things over the years.

Pick a tank around 20% larger than your largest item to allow proper cavitation. For frequency: 25–37 kHz suits general workshop, automotive, and industrial work; the P series at 80 kHz is gentler on soft stones, electronics and intricate parts; dual-frequency P models give you both.
