Managing Director

Tim Fastnedge

With Techspan since 1988

I am responsible for technical sales of a variety of Elma Ultrasonic equipment, and I also take care of the group’s marketing, graphic design, and development of the group website.

I began with Techspan in technical service, building a good product knowledge. I previously worked for a division of Techspan‘s Furniture manufacturing company in the late 80’s.

For nearly 35 years, Tim Fastnedge has been a driving force behind Techspan’s expertise in ultrasonic cleaning equipment. His knowledge of ultrasonic cleaners is extensive, allowing him to recommend the most effective cleaning solution for any application.

My interests include – family life, music, skydiving, and living life to the full.

My role is Sales & Purchasing. I am responsible for selling a variety of Techspan products and also purchasing them from our trusted European suppliers.

I have worked in and around sales for the majority of my career, after studying Psychology for 3 years at the University of Waikato. You could say I can read people very well.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and my sports. Being at the beach gives me a refreshing therapeutic reset.

Technical Service Manager

Ayman Aldarabie

With Techspan since March 2021

I started with the company as a Technical Service Engineer. I finished my BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering overseas and studied a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering Level 7 in New Zealand.

I had several years of work experience in Mechanical Design Engineering and as an Electrical Service Technician. These skills help me carry out maintenance, testing and commissioning for ENGEL machines and other Techspan supplied products.

I was born in Amman, Jordan in 1992. My interests include travelling, hiking, karate, swimming, music and social gatherings.

Order & Customer Service

Joy Mati

With Techspan since September 2020

I’m part of our Customer Service team, processing orders and other administrative duties.

New Zealand-born Samoan, lived, schooled and worked locally in west Auckland all my life.

My interests: painting, especially kids’ birthday banners. Crafty things, reading, listening to music, and hanging out with my cousins at the Coffee Club or the movies.
